De Bree Solutions contacted Liqson asking for a suitable tank for the temporary storage of hazardous sludge. At their Maldegem site, the existing storage capacity was fully utilised, necessitating a temporary expansion.
VLAREM-compliant double-walled storage tank
For this, Liqson supplied a VLAREM-compliant, double-walled stainless steel storage tank that could be quickly deployed on site. This solution allowed De Bree Solutions to temporarily expand their storage capacity and continue operations without interruption.
The tank is equipped with several safety and monitoring systems as standard, including digital level measurement, permanent leak detection and an overfill warning system. In addition, the chosen quick connectors were provided on the tank so that the sludge could be easily and safely pumped across.
The tank deployed in this project was specifically designed for the safe storage of hazardous products. It is made of stainless steel 316, which ensures excellent chemical resistance.
Each tank is equipped with:
- 45° folding stairs
- Walkway with folding railings
- Digital level measurement
- Permanent digital leak detection
- Overfill warning system at 95% filling
- VLAREM-compliant design
This solution enabled De Bree Solutions to temporarily expand their storage capacity with a secure and compliant installation.
