Business developer – Germany

Liqson rents mobile storage tanks and accessories for liquids.
We are a well-established company with strong technical expertise in the temporary storage of chemicals, food products, waste streams and water.

To accelerate our international growth, we are looking for a Business Developer for Germany and other European markets, excluding Belgium, the Netherlands, and France.

Your role:

  • Drive business development in Germany, with expansion to other European markets (excl. BE / NL / FR) by developing and implementing prospecting and business development plans.
  • Actively acquire new customers via trade fairs, customer visits and digital prospecting.
  • Develop and execute a focused prospecting and go-to-market strategy.
  • Translate customer needs into technical rental solutions, together with internal experts.
  • Work closely with the projects team on quotations and project follow-up. Report to the commercial manager on a weekly basis.
  • Regularly join customer installations on site, mainly to assist, support and gain application insight.
  • You maintain accurate and up-to-date administration and visit reports in the sales software; high attention to detail and reporting quality is essential.
  • You are primarily based in Germany and close to the market, working mainly from your home base. Regular visits to our offices in Roeselare (e.g. for onboarding, product immersion and key meetings) are expected, combined with frequent travel within Germany.

Your profile:

  • First proven experience in business development, technical sales or rental.
  • Affinity with chemicals, pumps, valves or industrial services/rental.
  • Strong in autonomous prospecting and opening new markets.
  • Hands-on, structured and results-driven.
  • Languages:
    • German & English: mandatory
    • Dutch and/or French: a strong asset
  • Based in Western Germany or the east of Belgium, willing to travel extensively within Germany.
