SHIP RENTAL TANKS FOR WASTE WATER
Nord Stream is a gas pipeline between Russia and Germany. The first pipes were laid in 2005. In 2018, a decision was made to increase capacity. During these works, no waste water may be discharged into the Baltic Sea.
The ships carrying out the work have a buffer tank on board, but it is not large enough. So the customer was looking for extra storage capacity on the deck.
SOLUTION:
In the short term, 5 storage tanks and the necessary accessories were placed on this ship. 5 storage tanks were placed on the deck. The tanks are easy to secure by means of corner castings. All storage tanks were equipped with a digital radar level measurement.
PUMPS & FLEXIBLE HOSES
A centrifugal pump was provided to pump all the waste water. The pump was given the necessary adjustments to be able to operate on the ship’s 60Hz network. Flexible hoses were provided as an overflow and to be able to pump everything safely. All hoses were tested beforehand.

This customer opted for a rental solution for this project. This allows the customer to switch quickly and obtain a reliable installation.
