Storage of waste water from water treatment

Water treatment problem

Liqson was summoned by this customer to urgently deliver tanks for an emergency.

The customer had a problem with the water treatment and these tanks were used to temporarily buffer the influent.

The waste water treatment of this company is based on the biological purification principle. This consists of aeration basins, sludge storage basins and a post-sedimentation tank. The purified waste water is used as cooling water.

The storage tanks used for this project are equipped with a digital level measurement. This allows the customer to monitor the volume accurately.

200,000L

This company produces about 60,000L/hour of waste water. The water treatment plant has its own buffer capacity, but this became too small.

It was decided to provide four storage tanks of 50,000L, for a total volume of 200,000L. Liqson was also responsible for connecting the tanks to the customer’s existing piping. In addition, the tanks were interconnected to create one large storage volume.

Thanks to the large stock of tanks, flexible hoses and coupling pieces, this customer was helped out within a few hours.
